This is very well thought out, but I have to respectfully disagree. It is not celebrity but media channels (digital or traditional) which have power and influence. If you look at last year's US election ( the most celebrity-driven nation), then most big name celebrities backed Kamala Harris and the Democrats. The fame of Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, Robert DeNiro, Arnold Schwarzenegger, etc., far exceeds any outspoken Republican celebrities.
If anything, the opposite happened. People rejected their view because they were celebrities.
